Station 56 was dispatched to 685 Crothers Road in Springfield Township for Wires Arching. Engine 56 hit the street quickly and arrived on scene with Deputy 56 and found that the wires had started a small fire in the trees. Tanker 56 arrived on scene a short time later and was released within minutes. Engine 56 went in service to wet down the area on the ground due to the dry leaves and notified PP&L. Engine 56 took up after the wet down and the Department went available within in the hour.

Station 56 was dispatched to 1030 North West End Blvd for Montana West this afternoon. Engine 56 responded and found the alarm to to be accidental and took up a short time later.

Rescue 56 was added to assist Engine 57 (Milford Twp) for the report of an auto extrication on Rosedale Road at Allentown Road. Chief 57 arrived on scene and determined no extrication was needed and Rescue 56 was recalled.

After a busy weekend of running numerous calls, Monday morning started off bright and early with a reported truck rolled over on 309 and wires down. Station 56 Fire Police were requested by Chief 87 for traffic control on Rt. 309 while crews worked to upright an overturned tractor trailor.

Station 56 was dispatched for numerous calls on Saturday, October 29 ranging from wires calls to dwelling fires.
The day started of rather late in the morning with the crews of RTFR being dispatched for a reported dwelling fire. Deputy 56 arrived on scene and determined that there was wires burning in the rear of the residence but the fire was out on arrival. Engine 56 arrived a short time later and went to the interior to check for extension.
After the dwelling numerous wires calls were dispatched and crews took on the snowy and sometimes impassable roads. Crews made sure all life and property were safe and that no dangers were present.

Station 56 Fire Police were dispatched to S Rt 309 & Trumbauersville Rd for traffic control. Fire Police shut the road down for a period of time and reopened once the area was deemed safe by the proper authorities.

This year Doylestown Fire Company from Doylestown, PA have allowed Richland Township Fire & Rescue to use their Fire Safety Trailer to teach kids about fire safety in the home. Engine and Rescue 56 along with Tanker 36 were dispatched to in front of the Pelican Leisure Sports. Deputy 56 arrived on scene and was met by Richland Township Officers who put the fire out with a fire extinguisher. Deputy 56 held the assignment to Engine 56 who hit the road moments prior to the police department knocking down the fire. Tanker 36 was returned and crew for Rescue 56 and Tanker 56 stood by in station. The Engine was available within the half hour.

Station 56 Fire Police were dispatched to 1634 RIchlandtown Pike for traffic control at an accident. Fire Police from Station 36 & Station 56 shut the road down for a short period and were able to take up a short time later.

Sunday, October 16, 2011 1945
Station 56 was dispatched to Tactical Box 56-5 in the Melody Lakes Trailer Park for wires inside the dwelling. Assistant and Deputy 56 arrived on scene to find an oven unit had malfunctioned. Engine 56 arrived on scene a short time later and given the orders to bring in a Thermal Imaging Camera to investigate for extension. Engine 56's crew determined there was no extension into the wall with reading being in the 75 degree area. Temperatures insides the actual oven unit were in the 110 degree mark and rapidly falling. The homeowner was advised to contact their maintenance person to come check out the oven unit for any malfunctions and crews took up with in the half hour.
